We are always looking for new teachers and class ideas! Whether you have taught before or are new to the idea, the Skill Share Studio is a supportive, fun environment to share your skills. Even if you don’t consider yourself an ‘expert’ but have an interest that you’d like to explore with others, we can schedule informal collaborative learning opportunities at our studio.

The Skill Share Studio offers the use of our tools for workshops. We have two pottery wheels (one electric and one kickwheel), several sewing machines, and a wide assortment of other tools and materials. Facilities include an outdoor, cold water sink with greywater system and a composting toilet. For more information on Joseph Jenkin’s Humanure composting method click here.
Many class facilitators volunteer their time and proceeds to the studio, but we are happy to split income evenly between the studio and instructors. Additionally, the studio may be rented by the hour – $12 per hour with a 2 hour minimum.
